Defense Communication

19.01.17

Bad DEFENSIVE COMMUNICATION, along with defensive rebounding, are defining characteristics of a mediocre defense. Despite having good defensive concepts, individually and collectively, a team can be very bad on defense because of communication and rebounding.

The main problem of Defensive Communication isn’t technical or tactical, but PSYCHOLOGICAL. It’s a concentration issue, in most cases INDIVIDUAL. Teach the players that they have to talk and communicate on the court, continuously and without making mistakes.
